I would like to put some kind of cover on my white leather seats in the vette. I was wondering, do these type of seat covers bleed color to the seats they are on?
They look and feel good. My only complaint is that the side bolsters tend to wear out after a couple of years. Be sure to rotate them frequently and this problem may not occur.
I had them on my C4 for about a year , then I bought new mounted leather seats.
During that year, the the colors did not run.
Also, they are made from wet suit material, they are waterproof. If you spill soda on it, it will wipe off without staining. Also, they never get hot if you leave the top off in the sun.
I've had mine for 4yrs. They still loook new, my vette is garage kept.
One issue i had is the glue or something else from the covers stain my gray seats. The stains follow the stitch lines of the seat covers.
I've also heard of some fading if the car is parked outside 365 days a year. Okole does sell a spray to help with that,
Does anyone have pictures they can post? I'm interested in getting some to protect the new seats I want to order. I'd like to see them in some different colors. What would look best on a 95 polo green vert with saddle interior and top? Pin stripping, two tone, emblem, all black, etc.??

I did post soem pics a while ago. But of course older data is never kept on this site. I'll post some today if I have time.
yes and no. They will protect them in the sense that any spills or farts won't get to the leather, but if you don't remove the covers every so often, you will dry out the leather and they will crack.
As long as you don't mind removing them and conditioning the seats, you would be OK.

I would get two tone in black and tan with the emblem.
I don't have any pics of them on the car handy, but here they are by themsleves.
