Ball Joints
Going to get some new ball joints for my vette, so just wanted to get some opinions. Could get the kit from Eckler's for $140.00 or with a much better brand such as Moog's. It isn't like I will be doing anything other than joy riding so I dont think I really need the higher end products but they will last longer. Any other opinions.

My first choice would be Moog ball joints then AC Delco. Both are close in quality but the Moog pieces shoud stand up to severe use like autocross or track days.
I would not be suprised to find that the Eckler's kit is "white box" stuff and not as good as Moog or GM. And with Ecklers' you have to tack on the shipping and handling charges which could be another $25 or more. You should be able to find Moog pieces at local parts stores.
