Just recently changed my Water Pump, upper and lower rad hoses. Prior to doing so my car would run 189 - 197 degrees while moving and go to 228, fans kick in, and drop back down to 196 or so, this was in 90 degree temps. Now in 40 degree temps car runs between 205 - 219 while driving. Did I miss something? I have burped the system twice and both times had a little air in system. From what I have read ANY air in the closed, presurezied system will cause it to run a little hot. Any input please, did I miss something? Thanks
Sounds like you need to burp it again. Get it to op temp so coolant is circulating and bleed it. I am sure you are aware of the bleeder screws.
Connections on the sender at front of water pump are all good?
