Default Iggee Owners, A Question...

I got a set of Iggee's for my 96 for Christmas, and I LOVE them. But I'm having a small problem.

The upper area of the seats, below the headrest, between the bolsters, the covers don't want to sit down in there.

Any tips? I've went as far as thinking double sided tape, but I don't want to damage the stock leather underneath.

Pics can be taken tomorrow if need be.

I also got mine of christmas and had the same problem. I found by just sitting in them it went away. My driver side seat look great. I need to get somebody to ride around with me so I can get the passener side to sung up. AKA I need a girlfriend.

They look cool, but won't they damage the leather seat covers? As far as I know, PVC doesn't breathe.

Mine did the same thing for a week or so and eventually they sat flat. Im not pleased with mine though. I got black with red inserts and the red portion is fading and turning pink. Ive only had them for about 3 months too.

Off the record, but thr first set of Iggee Covers that I got fit the upper section #1 but the bottom was all shagged up. The second set I received was made for my basic seat fit the lower part better and the upper part wasn't as good as the last. so I wish has a cros of bothe I'll show you both...

Upper set number #1

This is after...

I really don't know if they would damage a good leather seat or not.

My driver side seat was starting to look a little worn, so I covered them with Iggee.

I read about the red insert fading here on corvette forum, so I got the all black ones.

I would have got the red inserts if not for reading about the fading problem here on the forum.

Thanks corvette forum for saving me on that one.

Do you guys have the full-custom or semi-custom covers?
Can I see some pics of these?

Go with full custom. They fit good and are very easy to install. The semi custom have the stretchy back to fit other seats and are not as custom looking as the full custom.

I drive around in mine for a week, then switched the drivers side for the passenger side and they both then looked very snug.

Unless you know corvette seats, you would not know the difference.

i would post pics, but I have not figured out the techno geek side of this stuff yet...

To post pictures you need to upload them to a web host them post the img. url of the picture.
Or you can email them to me and I can post them for you.

I would like to see how they look. These things are not cheap.

Whats the difference between the two? I didn't notice the full custom option on their site (maybe I missed it, I'm getting old). Pictures would be cool. Thanks, Jack

That's what I was trying to figure out and why I wanted to see pictures of them. The web site does not show much.

I paid $179 out the door for my '95 full custom covers. I saw the semi custom when I was at their shop in orange, ca and could clearly see that the semi custom would fit a variety of sport seats, with the stetchy back rather than the vinyl that was truly a custom fit. Saw it in person for myself, and would highly recomend the full custom. The other pics of Iggee covers on this forum really are good, and they really are that good.

I had a friend look at mine just today and really thought I had the seats reupholstered, and I had a hard time convincing him they were just covers.

Either pay $179 for a really good fit and a good look, ort $800 for new seats. Either way, you will be happy, depending on what you want to spend.

my $0.02...

The price on the website was like $240 or something along there. It also deos not state (that I could see) if that was per seat or per pair.

full custom for my '95 was $179 for the pair.

I got them for $179 out the door, because I went to their shop to see the differences, and he forgot to charge sales tax. That is when he showed me the semi custom, which seemed to be a very good kind of cover that you could get from an auto parts store. They will fit good, but they would also fit other seats as well with a stretchy material on the back, rather than the matching vinyl that is cut perfect for the C4 seats.

The color combination on the website was not complete either. I got solid greay to match my interior, and on the web site they only had the two tone with gray.

Default Summer use??

Who has used these covers during the summer months? Are they better, same, or worse than sitting on the leather? Do they burn you like the old vinyl seats used to?

Thanks
