I went to the gotti wheel website. they are the 55A style wheels. They were on this wreck, and looked good. check out how they are made. 3 pieces, and lots of bolts.
do these also come with a corvette emblem in the center? i think these are the same wheels i have and have been wondering what kind of wheels they are mine are 16x9 but they seem to be an aluminum finish instead of polished. mine are (look like them anyways) the 55a and i think they look sweet on the car. anyway to tell if these are gotti rims i got any markings or company name on the inside of rim this has had me stumped for a while as to what kind of rims these are cause ive never seen any on other cars besides mine.

Old skool wheels.
On a par with BBS back in the '80's.
Should be the perfect wheel for someone looking for period-correct Corvette wheels.
Head and shoulders above ZR-1 wheels....................
I guess they have a pretty good warranty, and are totally repairable.
unless you wipe them out completely.
anyway, these have tiny scratches, and look almost new. I guess they are the proper offset, since they are on an 87.
My friend said he thinks there are identification stickers inside the tire stuck on the wheel, and um....he said any real car guy would recognize them anywhere.
I'm a car guy, but since they are high end, not too many corvette owners ever purchased these wheels, I didn't even hazard a guess. never seen them before.
Soooo I will put a set of skins on em, and see if they look cool. Different tastes for different people ya know.
There is a pic of them on a car in the book "101 projects for your C4". it's on a blue car on page 61 or something. My friend was kidding me about retro styling, and had the pic in his book. wasn't a great pic, but real car with the wheels on it.

I used to sell these back in the mid to late 80's. I have rebuilt more than just a few. Carl Lewis had some on his slope nosed Porsche back then. Always bending the outers. I used them on two of my cars back then. RX7's. Place I used to work for I think still has the wheel rebuilding stand. It would hold the bolts on one side and you would only have to put the nuts on the other. Bringing back memories.
