Well after 7 months and a few thousand dollars It's back and does not run. I picked it up this afternoon, I knew that there were issues with the idle, and that it would idle rough, but now it does not idle at all. I must have sucker written all over my face. Scott has been helping me out, but now I have the car back and nothing.
I could probably go own for hours, but I am so upset that I feel like junking the whole car. It ran perfect when it was just a 350 230hp american sports car. What the hell did I do???
I see that so many of you with the 383 have no problems with it in you 85's. Am I missing something???
Wow, I have been there. You have to start from scratch, with a fresh thought and deal with the basics first. You need a good friend who is a mechanic to assist you. Many times I have been frustrated in a similar situation & good old Corkvette1 comes over, looks at car, does some testing and usually it is something overlooked.
Be patient and walk away for awhile. When it is running you will have a smile from ear to ear.
