Default Which wheels should i get? (POLL)

Heres the first contender The black C5 Z06 Wheel

The second contender is the C4 GS Wheel

The third contender is the C5 Z06 Polished with rivets

Does anyone have any of these on their car, if you do post some pics, also make sure to vote in the poll to let me know which ones you think would look the best on a RED 91 Coupe with blackouts.

I like the last one the best, but the GS ones will last longer

If it were going on my car..........
I would like the C5 Z06 polished but no rivets.
Maybe if the car were black.....I would go with the blacks.

I still think, in the end, I would go with the GS wheels (actually what I am thinking about doing with mine). Just a lot of money for me to justify spending on the car.

I'm one of those wierd ones that kind of likes the stock look......sooooo......I will probably leave mine stock and just shine them up some.

I had to vote for the GS wheels because of the chrome. It is much easier to keep clean. Now, I love those Z06 rivets wheel. Those are hot. But it will take more work to polish on them. And I think we vette owners have enough to polish on already. But if they were chrome I would of voted for the Z06 rivets wheels with out a doubt. Good luck in your choice.

If they are still available I would go with Black Chrome wheels in teh Zr1/GS stlye wheel. They would look awesome on a red car.... Right Andy!

I voted for the C5 Z06.
Here's my thoughts on it.

If you want to know what your car will look like with the GS wheels, just check my profile picture (they look pretty close to the ZR1 repros I have).

I personally don't feel the Black chrome would look good with a red car.

Good luck with whatever you choose.

Polished GS here, just like my avatar. Very easy to keep clean and shiny and no chrome to flake off.

I voted for the black Z06 wheels, but if you had black GS wheels I would have voted for them.

I've never liked anything polished or chrome on C4s. There's not a single polished/chrome part on the car, and adding polished/chromed wheels just doesn't seem to me to fit right. The muscle cars had polished trim, chromed bumpers, shiny bits in the interior and so on, polished wheels complimented the look in that case. On the C4 they look out of place, IMHO.

There's another thread running that asks basically the same question without the poll. There are a set of American Racing Wheels Torq Thrust II shown in one of the replies. I know you have a red coupe (like mine...good choice)...there's a set of them on a red convertible that looks great. What do you think...runner up number 4 ?

well i love the tt2 but the reason i posted those three is because they are relatively inexpensive comming out at about $480 shipped for the 17" 9.5, that way i can reuse the tires i have
