I got tired of trying to place things in the center console around the Cassette Dividers so, today I decided to remove the dividers to make the console compartment easier to organize.
It took me less than 30 minutes using some leftover black carpet I bought from PepBoys awhile ago. Here's some pictures.
Ah, those of you who don't need cassette storage ...
... looks good!
We don't need no stinkin' cassette storage!!!!!
I guess I can't poke fun at you if you still listen to cassette's (I hope you mean that you need it left alone for the integrity of the vehicle at shows ) .........considering........this post reminded me of listening to Ted Nugent, Boston, E.L.O. and a few others (ok a dozen or more of those "others") on the almighty 8 Track in an old Monte Carlo I had. I was listening to these in the mid '80's!
Funny thing about it is, I'm only a year older than you.
Yeah, I like the deletion of the cassette storage. Mine is a bit different looking......but......I can see the project for this Saturday (may even do it tomorrow).
Very nice work. If we can only get a six pack with ice to fit in there as well!!!!
The cassette delete looks good! I thought the beer cooler was the compartment behind the passenger seat? I keep reading about people having water back there, isn't that from all the melting ice?
Hmmm, mine doesn't have a cassette holder like the on in the pic. Mine has a removable tray with Velcro on the bottom to stick to the carpet. I'll see if I can get a pic of it. I actually use the tray to hold my change.
