Hurry Spring!
I spent 2 hours with the snowblower cleaning off the driveways and part of my street. Then found this while surfing the net at work. Will Spring ever reach W Michigan? Please hurry!
I am with you Ron. Tired of the cold. Tired of the snow. I have much to do in the garage,(C3 PROJECT) but it requires running the heat constantly. Noisey and expensive. I had to fix a tire on the C4 out there this morning and then spent the rest of the day clicking on the net.

Ahhhh, the warmth and comfort of a toasty CRT. I am at work right now and sitting by the heat register. Probably will be in the single digits on the way home and it takes the Sierra about 10 minutes to really get warm. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

You still have your honey to keep you warm don't you? Detroit Tigers had their pitchers and catchers report at Lakeland FL this week. Watch out this year red birds!

The Cardinals had their pitchers and catchers report this week too. Go Redbirds.
As a Floridian, I am enjoying this pleasant weather and I have no remorse for you nothern folk. We pay for this wonderful winter weather with hot sticky humid weather from June through September and it rains most days that time of year with an occasional Big Blow that will adjust your attitude real quick. So while your off playing at Carlisle and running Dragons so on and so forth, we are melting. While y'all run from the cold to the heat, in summer we run from the heat to the cool. Sometimes having to hunker down.
A couple of days ago we received a few inches of snow and then an inch of ice. Chipped and shoveled the Vette out of the ice and snow yesterday. After all that work I just had to go for a ride. It warmed up to 36*, my neighbor cleaned off the rest of his driveway wearing shorts.
I have spent a lot of time in Florida and they don't call it the sunshine state for nothing. However, boarding up the house, putting away the lawn furniture, and evacuating is a pain. Hurricanes are not to be taken lightly. We don't get to many of those here. We also don't have minus temperatures to deal with or a foot of snow every day like up north. So, I guess you take the good with the bad, that's how you live anywhere the weather goes to extremes.
Sorry, I got off track. I too can not wait until spring!

Two more weeks then the wife and I meet our kids and their spouses in Las Vegas for 4 days. But when I get home the snow will still be here. Only 22 inches on the ground so far this year. Should be able to bust the C4 out about the last week in March.
It's not about the temperature. It's not even about the snow. It's about the liquid deicer they spray on the roads. Very corrosive. We need a good rain to wash off the streets; then

I was talking to someone in Ohio today and they really got dumped on this week. It sounds like you got the same. The mountains got a few inches yesterday but we stayed dry here in the foothills. Spring is here officially in the south. I have deemed it so with the running of the Daytona 500 every year! I hope it follows for you northerners soon.
If it makes ya feel any better, I'm in central Florida (directly across the state from Daytona) and I just came in from covering a few of the plants outside. There expecting it to dip down around the freezing mark tonight. Some of the stuff we have planted outside can't take the cold weather.
So it back to talking about winter blues, Cuise in two weeks. Can't wait to see girls in skirts . Ok, maybe alittle more that that . As I've alway said the first sign of spring is not the robin "our state bird" here in Wisconsin. It's girls in skirts. Still T-bone you can drive your Vette in Florida during the summer and hang out in the Ocean water. Thats a plus for sure.
I'm jealous of you Florida guys, spring can't get here soon enough for me either. Though I really can't complain compared to the weather some of you are getting.
This time 5 years ago I went to Florida for a week.... I changed my flight 3 times and stayed for a month.....Now THIS is vette weather!
