Could someone recommend a book for a new owner? I'm really not interested in highly technical content - but more so regarding basics of C-4's through the years. I'm thinking more along the lines of a "Corvettes for Dummies" sort of book, geared more for 1st time owners.
The first book I bought was "Corvette Chronicle" ISBN#0785343148 form Walden books. It is by the editors of Consumer guide and is excellent at $29.95. The second book, also bought at Walden books, was The corvette Black Book 1953- 2001. This is more technical but will serve you well as your interest in this hobby/addiction grows :D
I have found the Corvette Buyer's Guide to be very helpful when first learning about these cars. It is written by the same man that writes the Corvette Black Book - Michael Antonick. It is an illustrated buyer's guide, with many useful photos/facts. :yesnod:
I had purchased it at a local Barnes and Noble Booksellers for about $18.00. You may also want to check out Barnes and Noble on line and Amazon.com for their selection of Corvette books. I have purchased from both companies in the past without any problems. :D
