86 Y-pipe
I will be installing a new exhaust system, Y-pipe, converter and Magnaflow cat back system. My question is I have tried several GM dealers and they say the Y-pipe is discontinued. Has anyone else ran into this problem. I can order the Y-pipe from several corvette parts catalogs that is not a problem. Do you think GM sooner or layer will discontinue parts for the C4? A lot of times I can find orginal parts cheaper from GM dealers.

Yes, GM is discontinuing the C4 parts, GM likes to do this especially as the cars near 10 plus years unless the part is used on a wide range of vehicles.
