My wife has said this to me few times. I politely remind her that she must love shoes and jewelry more than she loves me. The conversation usually stops there.
When I was looking at my 89 before I purchased it, my wife drove it and said, "make the deal" so I did. I didn't get to drive it at all that first week so I jokingly said we should get the 91 we were looking at so we both have one to drive, she said " go get it" so we did! We have an 89 and a 91 so there's no fighting over it on a sunny day. She never comments on what I am doing on the cars as long as there is one to drive at the time. I am lucky!!
