I don't have any pics(I don't have the exhaust either) but it looks great, it's about the best looking(and sounding) exhaust you can buy, but very pricey.
oh man did i screw up... that exhaust is beautiful. i love those tips.. i went borla and boy do i wish i chose that.. i almost bet that exhaust sounds better too.. borla is quiet.. way to quiet
I have stainless works headers, RT cats and the 3" B&B.
here are some assembly pictures I took last year. I've removed all the clamps, grinded all the welds and polished most of the tubing...
Sound is pretty reasonable but with a vert, there's some resonance. I don't mind it though
With your set up, how is the heat off the cats? Does it heat up the floor pan near the cats? I'm getting ready to install my long tubes with the smaller cats and wondered if heat was a problem. Here is a few shots of my B&Bs:
I ordered my 3" B&B cat back last week and am paitiently waiting the arrival. I see some using the Stainless Works headers and cat combo, is this the mainstay? What other combinations are people using for free flowing performance?
I purchased my car just recently from what is now a good friend. Jeff has made the upgrades to LT4 to the engine, changed the rear end ratio to 4:10 and added ZR1 tires and wheels to compliment his finely kept 95 6 speed coupe.
I want to now take it to the next level and let her breath. this is a fine thread started to look into the complete exhaust system, I see many a B&B tail pipe showing. What kind of headers are you guys using?
Clint
I have a few questions. I have muffler eliminators on my LT4. Would my car be louder if I went with B&B exhaust(I'm assuming not)? Also if you go with the whole nine yards as on sonomacrew01 car(headers, cats, etc.) how much hp gain are you looking at for a LT4?
Did you order it w/ the X-pipe?? It's a free upgrade!
I must admit, you caught me looking like a deer in the head lights gaze!
I am assuming my system will look like the one's in the pictures. By the sounds of your statment, the difference is/could be significant. Please educate me on the difference.
Clint
Whew, looks like they are the X-Flow.
this is a cut and paste;
The B&B Tri-Flo Corvette exhaust system is engineered for performance and designed for an attractive, clean appearance. The system features full 3-inch stainless steel tubing with the exclusive B&B X-flow center resonator, which equalizes the engine's exhaust pulses, creating more horsepower and torque. All B&B exhaust systems are direct bolt-on replacements for the factory exhaust. No cutting, fitting or welding is required.
I am currently installing the 3 in system with the x-pipe, and man, it's a tight fit... I am going to have to have at it with a hammer, currently the driver side is about a centimeter from the trans oil pan... plus I am having problems with the 4 hangers reaching down far enough to bolt onto the new system.
