Dont know about funny oil, but I can tell you for the pictures looks to me like OIL AND WATER, AND THEY DONT MIX. Good luck on the 383.

Sorry about the engine.
Just a caution to not use the cowl vent area as a tool caddy.
Windshield replacement when done properly is very expensive.

Actually Dave's hands were dirtier than mine when we finished. I wore some gloves when it got messy. I wear flannel whenever its below 55. Its just so comfortable
