Default Funny oil

Today I fianlly got caught up on all the honey-do projects, or at least enough to start pulling the motor. Suspected a blown head gasket for a long time and I've had it parked ever since. Called my "little" brother over to help me out since he's been getting into cars more lately. I drained the oil to discover this nasty thick stuff

Dave taking a break

Me breaking loose the tight A/C bracket

Well, a few more hrs to go. Then begins the 383 build.....

Couldn't help but notice you're wearing a flannel shirt.....

Good luck with the build. You might want to go ahead and see if your card company will raise your credit limit ahead of time.

Ouch! I remember seeing that same oil in one of my past cars. Key word "past".

Sorry about the engine.

Just a caution to not use the cowl vent area as a tool caddy.
Windshield replacement when done properly is very expensive.

Actually Dave's hands were dirtier than mine when we finished. I wore some gloves when it got messy. I wear flannel whenever its below 55. Its just so comfortable
