As suggested, its pretty straight forward. Before I go fumbling around parts I don't need to touch, how do you remove the E brake handle from a 95?
Thanks!
Edit: heres a better question, do I have to remove the assembly and take the handle out as a WHOLE, or does just the GRIP come off, kind of like the shift ****?
I really don't know... You ahve to remove the drivers seat... and there is a cover... after that, I am clueless. all I have ever done with mine is clean it from time to time.

On an 87, it didn't look very simple to swap a better handle in, so I did the whole assembly, which was pretty easy.
You dont have to remove the drivers seat. Just the cushion. I was able to just move my seat around to get to all of the bolts out to unhook the whole assembly. I don't know that you could replace jsut the handle.
BTW why are you wanting to take it out? If its just ugly or something, I have the one I took out of my car. All of the plastic on the handle is still in really good condition. I would give it to you. I put in a whole new assembly.

Thank you for the generous offer but I want to take it out to laminate it with carbon fiber as an experiment for the most part. I am going to be practicing on smaller parts before I move to the dash pieces.
Be careful with this operation. The nuts are pressed into the holes in the frame from the inside. They can come loose and fall down inside the frame. The only way to fix it is to drill a hole in the frame . Ask me how I know about all of this. The '88-'96 cars have pressed in nuts and the '84-'87 cars have welded nuts. I would never remove the lever assembly unless I was replacing a malfuntioning part.
