GS Stripes?????
i have recently put fender flares and red hash marks on my car.(pics soon to come). I was thinking that it would look pretty sweet with the white stripe down the hood and back. Or would it look kind of cheesy being that it is in no way a GS. What do you guys think?

I like the red hash marks on the black car idea, I've thought bout doing it, but I don't want to do permant things to a car I might not keep too long. If you want a white stripe go for it, it might look pretty good, do a photo shop version and post it, see how it looks. I can't tell till I see it, but if you do that, try red also, I'd like to see how a red black combo looks on a C4. Screw that whole "oh no you're trying to look like a GS" thing, do what you want, until you put the GS emblems you aren't really trying to make it a GS, its just a car with a custom paint or whatever.

Not sure. I'd try it as a colorshop first also. You also might want to try a red stripe to go with the hash marks. I want the hash marks in red also but no stripe. I'm gonna wait until I do up the motor first.

Ive got red accents under the hood as well as all the hoses steel braided with red fittings, but was wondering about a white stripe down the top. For some reason a red stripe down the top does nothing for me. i dont know, just been thinking about it lately. thanks for the response.

Want to go wild with it??? Try a Competition Yellow Stripe.
Actually this isn't such a bad idea. I'll be adding a Black GS stripe to ours in the future and if I every get a C5, thought about doing a reverse of this. Black, with Yellow stripe and red hash marks. I've seen several Black vehicles around here with Yellow stripes and think they look sharp! IMHO :yesnod:

SNKSKNR has a silver strip and it looks good. White may stand out little too much, but it is whatever your own tastes are.

Man, I love your car. Personally I don't like the white stripe idea, silver stripe maybe or ghost flames. But it is your car, personalize it as you see fit. Keep the hash marks, it really sets the car off with the flares and painted calipers you added.

Ed, Nice ride! We were in ours with the top down and had to run a US flag over to a car wash. My daughter held the flag as I drove it wasn't very far but it did look cool.
