I have a 93 that I put all new window molding in. But i am still chasing water leaks. How easy is it to adjust window glass? anybody delt with this? Thanks.
Grease the weatherstipping first with silicon grease. That may well solve the problem, and it will make it very easy to see where it's leaking if that persists.
The windows are adjustable. The procedures are in the FSM. You can make a C4 not leak but it does take some time.
Then you will have a problem shutting the doors - no way for the air to escape - just another fun issue.
If you just purcahsed new seals - check for proper allignment. You might want to look at your front windshield seal as well - they get really dry over time.
Tom: Please describe to location of the leak on your window. The opportuities for correcting the problem will be determined by the location of the problem. I just installed new WS (GM) on my 89 and had to do some adjustments to get a proper seal. There is also a procedure to adjust the window in the tech section. The location of the leak is needed to assist you.
