I have a 1991 Corvette coupe. My courtesy lights mounted in the arm rest, the map lights in the mirror, and the lights in the radio buttons are not working. I have checked the fuses, they seem to be ok. Any suggestions ?
My '93 has a relay behind the dash on the drivers side that controls the interior lights, mine was missing because the passenger door switch was out of adjustment and whey I hit a bump the interior lights would flash.
I need to take the instrument cluster out anyway. I had some work done at a Chevrolet garage and they didn't get the connections tight to the instrument cluster, so only half of it is working currently. I'll check for the relay when I have the cluster out.
IIRC, there are a couple of fuses under the right hush panel and one of them had blown.
IIRC again, there is a fuse in the fuse panel that says CTSY or something like that on it.
May want to check that one.
I also have a 90' Coupe with a non working Horn and my curtesy lights are not working. I have been directed to the Relay panel and aux fuse holder behind the right side inst. panel. For the life of me I cannot figure out how to gain access to it. Most corvette owners I have talked to said "it's behind the panel just pull it off" I still cannot see where I can get the panel removed without breakng something. The knee bolster is covered by a carpet type fabric that is glued on. I do not see any ready access screw holes. I am sure once I get the panel off and see the relays and fuse holder I can figure out the problem. My car is coming up for inspection and I need to get this resolved before the end of the month or it sits in the garage. Thanks for the help in advance. Steve
