That's the same 5abivt guy whose pics have been posted elsewhere in this thread, but different wheels.
At some point in years past I had seen old pics of his car/wheels on here and saved them to my computer. When I was ready to buy custom wheels for my 85, I tracked him down to inquire about the wheel sizes. I think he was kind of taken aback by it, and said he didn't even remember putting those pics on the internet. But we talked about wheel sizes for a while and he gave me some help.
Later I ordered a set of those custom wheels, very similar to his...and I think that this bothered him for some reason. So apparently he sold those wheels and went with some larger custom ones, seen in the pic above.

Took these pics a couple of weeks ago when I got the wheels after waiting over a month for them to ship from Weld. Poor lighting and poor pics. I had to put them on the car to see how they look and am very pleased. The look much better in good light.

Note to anyone considering these: They are very nice, but do not balance like regular wheels and require a balancing machine with an adapter for lug-centric balancing. I had trouble finding someone around me who would balance them and had to pay $80 extra. Still well worth the effort I think.

They are ZR1 replicas (A-mold). Mine are made by AFS there are other manufacturers. That is probably the most popular C4 wheel.

I much prefer these wheels to the 'saw blades'. The color combination and the wheels are what attracted me to the car I bought.
