It is UGLY lolol that is what they are! That is why I bought the replacement piece that is flat!

1984-1989 Dash pad. It was installed as part of a passive restraint system that was going to be required by the Federal Government. A precursor to the Air Bag so to speak. President Reagen dropped the restraint proposal but Chevrolet still kept the pad.

There are too many large flat areas on the early C4 interior to add another flat panel. Breadbox breaks things up a little bit
