Has anyone tried "40 below" from Ecklers. They claim it reduces water temp up to 40 degrees? is this marketing BS.Is this similar to "water wetter"thanks for your input

I would recommend fixing the problem.

I put in a manual cooling fan switch and it's the best thing. My cooling system is fine but I have more control over it in heavy traffic. I see no need for it go all the way to 230 when the fans kick on.

I used "40 Below" in a "91" Camaro once and it did absolutely nothing.

My Camaro had a new radiator, Stewart waterpump, new thermostat, hoses, cooling system flush and proper coolant mix but, it always ran hot (never overheated) especially in the summer. I also, tried "Redline Water Wetter" and it didn't help either.

Thanks Tommy T-Bone you made me laugh-Last week it did feel like 40 below.
I guess all of this is marketing bs.The manual cooling fan switch sounds like a better investment and probably cheaper

40 below is like watter wetter.

I use water wetter.

Water watter actually works better with water. No coolant.
It has rust inhibitors, lubricant properties, and increaces the viscosoty of water.

Hot rod guys and track guys use this a lot as sometime we are not allowed to have coolant in our systems at some events.

I run 82% water, 18% coolant and 1 btl of watter wetter.

I rarely go over 180 degrees at the track.
