Man what a difference!
I filled my tank up last week in my 86 corvette and put a bottle of Chevron TECHRON in the tank and I swear my car has more power and pick-up. Does anyone else here use it in there corvettes ?

and in my truck i use the 87 with techron..... chevron has some of the best gas you can buy imo

I felt the same difference. I put some of this in there:

We don't have any Chevron gas stations around here. Who else sells the Techron?

You can pick up a bottle of Techron and any auto store and I've seen it for sale at gas stations that weren't Chevron. It comes in two sizes for 12 & 20 gallon tanks. I've used it in all my cars for years.

I had a friend with an Audi which was running rough and began stumbling on acceleration. He figured it was time for an injector job. Someone told him to put a bottle of techron in and it cleared it right up. That is what sold me on the product.

I never have tried a bottle of it but all i run in my cars is chevron gas ...93 octane with techron in the vette and my eclipse spyder turbo and in my truck i use the 87 with techron..... chevron has some of the best gas you can buy imo

Does anybody know how these additives interact with the L98 injectors? I thought I read there was a problem with deterioration in some injectors from use of chemical cleaners. By the way, I run with Chevron Supreme.

I believe that was specific to the disk-type Multec injectors which have a wetted coil where the insulation can deteriorate.
Not sure about the other types, but I'd be surprised if they didn't have a wetted coil also.
