I have an 84 that needs a new cat back exhaust. I might replace the cat also. Everyone seems to suggest a Corsa system because of the lack of resonance. My question is does Corsa make a system for an 1984. All the Corsa systems I have seen point to 1986 and newer vettes. What is the difference?
The Corsa systems are tuned to the specific application. There is a different system for the L98 and LT1. Contact Corsa - nice guys - they can probably recommend an application.
DO NOT purchase this system. It is NOT for your car. If you go to the link above, it says that it is for a 1984, but if you click on the link adjacent to 1984, it brings you to another page that shows this system is actually for a 1986 and up. Sorry, but this is not the one you want. I'm only trying to help and possibly stop you from making a costly mistake.

Check out the chambered system from Eckler's web site. Comes with LT-1 tips. No unsightly muffler's hanging down either. Nice rich sound, and you can do it yourself. Catco makes a High Flow converter for your Vet., mine was about $65.
