well today i got in the 95 vette and went to crank it and it turned over about 10 times then poped,turnrd over about 10 more times and poped again....well it cranked up but had some smoke (i think it was black smoke) come out when it started......anyone have any ideal what will cause this ....it has been running fine up till now....it ran fine all day today.....
Take a paperclip and stick one end in the A terminal and the other in the B terminal of the ALDL. It's located where your right knee would be then under the steering wheel. Diagonistic Connector. The A and B terminals are located on the top right side by side. After you get it ready turn the key to on but DON'T CRANK IT, you'll see the SES light flash or blink 1 then pause then blink twice meaning code 12 which is nothing. It's a greeting code. Then count the number of times it flashes. BLINK, BLINK, BLINK,.............BLINK, BLINK, BLINK, BLINK, BLINK, BLINK is Code 36

Hmmm... does that apply to the 95 Vettes??????
THought there was a 10 yard penalty for doing that with OBDII.
