Vettes and Springtime

The fun cars are blooming from the garages around here like crazy. It is finally Spring when the trees are covered in white flowers and the Corvette drivers are waving like bloody maniacs!

From a blue C6 convertible to the red and white C1 in the Home Depot parking lot the owners are grinning and crusing and enjoying the weather in their babies, just like me. All the small hassles of operating a Vette are forgotten; replaced with teenage enthusiasm of simply driving a car that's a cut above the ordinary.

The guy in a 70 LT-1 vert looked like an idiot with the grin on his face as he wheeled throught the left turn intersection. Wait, I'm smiling wider than him and waving way too fast for a guy.

I've got it bad too. My car isn't worth a pile of money but its value lies elsewhere for me. I made it this damn nice and plan to enjoy it!

For us, the first major salt removing rain of the spring just moved through... that means it is either going to be this weekend or next that we start suffering from perma-grin.
