Default Water leaks

My 1995 glass top leaks when it rains. I have had the seals replaced twice, it still leaks and one dealership cracked the glass top. There must be another (better) answer of which I am unaware. Has anyone else had this experience?

It takes an experienced technician to do the job correctly. C4's have a very complex system of weatherstrips and weatherstrip retainers and the dealership is no better than any other shop if the person working on your car has never done one before. A 95 is now 12 years old and it might be difficult to find someone now who is knowledgeable and experienced working on them. You should research this one and ask around to see if you can locate someone. The local Corvette club might know who can do it. Apparently whoever worked on your car back at the dealership did not watertest his work afterwards. It should be guaranteed for 90 days but I don't know that I would want them working on mine anymore. Your car can be fixed, it should not leak. The engineers did a good job designing the weatherstrips.

I feel your pain. I need to replace mine. Maybe some of the other members will chime in with some tricks.

You need to fill out your profile so everyone knows what year you have when answering questions.

As Greg said, a Corvette club in your area may point you in the right direction or maybe a restoration shop near you. It certainly sounds like a botched job especially the cracked glass. I hope that was replaced.

I certainly hope the dealer replaced your top for free being they cracked it.

It helps if you put the city where you live in your profile. People that live close to you could possibly even tell you where and what garage can do a proper repair.
