1992 CD Player Repair
I need my 92 Vert CD player repaired. Anyone know of a reputable place in southeastern PA that knows what they are doing & won't do a butch job?

I used Same Day Auto Audio Repair out of VA. Reasonable cost and quick service. You can find them on Ebay, do a search for user rch72. others will tell you Dr. Don.

Good alternative to repair is aftermarket as well. You can find a descent aftermarket head unit for the cost of labor those guys are charging. Usually big name stores will do the install for free like Best Buy or Circuit City on certain days . Just go with big names like Alpine, Pioneer, Kenwood, etc. and it'll be fine..definitely better than that 10 year old Bose unit. 
Your not doing yourself any favors by staying with the Bose head unit as far as sound is concerned. Paying $550 for a replacement is absurd...you could get a DVD head unit with an LCD display for that price. Heck, hook up a rear chasecam to the LCD display and you will be rockin
