reminiscing
Just came in from the garage looking at my corvette, thinking about the first time that I really looked at a c4. I am 28 so I was really young when the c4 came out. My family always had corvettes and at the time we had a '77. There was a breakfast cereal that you could win a new corvette sweepstakes. I can't remember the cereal brand but they had a red c4 on the back of the box.. I remember eating that cereal every morning and staring at the corvette hoping that my mom and dad would buy one. Another thought was how much cooler my moms daily driver '77's door handles were and wondering why they put those plain ones on the new vette. This was around 1986. I was probably 7 or 8 years old. Just thought I would post this, my vette has been in all winter and I plan on washing it this weekend and going for a drive. Just thought maybe some people of my gen might chime in about what they remember.
