Hi everyone,
Can you/does anyone run C5 sized 17" wheels (not necessarily OEMs, but aftermarket wheels that were initially for a C5) on a C4? From what I gather the offsets of the respective C4 and C5 OEM 17x9.5" wheels are very close. I'm assuming that the bolt pattern has remained the same-can anyone verify that?
Thanks for your help. Depending on your answer, I may have some awesome wheels available for someone
the 97-99 wagon wheels fit fine on mine.i used c5 rear(275/40/18)on the back and stock c4 front(255/45/17).i'm sure stock c5 front(245/45/17)would work, however i am running the BMAD and the cross-frame and did'nt want to lose any ground clearance.
Thanks everyone. For my own peace of mind I intend to physically confirm fitment of a wheel on a local C4 (I'm not positive about it's offset); if it all checks out OK I will have a set of HRE 543 wheels for sale at a great price, so stay tuned

17" will fit all C4s. Offset and width will affect whether or not you'll need an adapter, and how thick.
Calculate front spacing of your wheel. Compare this to the frontspacing of the stock wheel that's being replaced. If it's too small, add a spacer or adapter to make up the difference. The front spacing determines how far the wheel sticks out of the fender.
Also there is a certain backspacing which you can't go over without rubbing. I don't know what the maximum backspacing is for either year. But some have used 17x11"-36mm ZR1 wheels on early C4s without rubbing, so calculate the backspacing for those and make sure you don't go higher than that for your new wheels.
I am running 275x40x18 rear and 275x40x17 runflats off a 2002 Vette on my 95 Vette with no problem, these are the standard rims on the 2002 also.
