Air Filter

Hello,
Went to 3 auto parts stores today, And nobody stocks the airfilter for my 1990. Anybody else having this problem. I will check at pepboys on sunday! I sure as heck dont want to go to the stealer and buy one.

If you plan to keep the car a while, the K&N filter is a lifetime filter. Once every year or 2, wash and oil it and it is like new.

Hi Pete,
Well i got her back on the ground no more tail shaft leak thanks for putting up with me throught that!
I was thinking the same thing after the last store it would pay for its self in the long run. Once again thanks for your help here.

I switched to Amsoil filters for air & oil. I ran K&N but like the filtration better with the amsoil filter. Just my .02

Napa usually does here. I went to K&N it's easier to clean it than chase one down.

Advance Auto has the Fram air-filter for a 1990...picked one up there last month. I sold my K&N to a forum member for $20 as I don't really like them...

Not surprised. Most FLAPS only stock fast moving items. They'll certainly order one for you, but 90's Corvette air filters are not high-volume sales leaders.

Most C4 owners go to K&N's, then instead of buying new air filters every few months.................................. ..................they just buy a new engine.
