Heater core
I noted that the hoses to the heater core were removed on my 89 vette, i reckon that the core is either bad, or there was a leak somwere.
how difficult is it to replace the core?, and since i dont plan on driving the thing when its below 60 degrees..should i?

If you search you will get alot of threads on this. The heatercore is a pita to change. It takes time and patience. Mine started to leak on me so I changed it. I never use it, but I dont like things not working so I replaced it. Its up to you if you want to change it, just be be prepared for alot of work if you do it yourself. PM Jet Jock, he has a nice walkthrough how on to replace it.
