Program mods
Hey guys, long time away, but it is finally time to pull my baby out of mothballs and get her on the road again. When I do there are some mods I want to make first.
1) I would like to set up the computer so that I dont need to change the chip every time I need to go have it smogged. It is a PITA. I want to run 2 programs on the same chip and just flip a switch when I need to go have it smogged. I have a very good idea on how to do this, but I thought that undoubtedly one of you has already done the hard work for me.
2) It is an '86 and has the 4+3 tranny in it. I can't stand the auto overdrive in it. I would like to rewire it or reprogram it so that the overdrive comes on when I want it to instead of GM's "predetermined" settings. Has anybody ever done this?
