as it doesn't even have a corvette motor in it.
If I were offered one for that, I'd pass.

How are you defining a corvette motor? It's just a 350 motor. Not even as powerful as a LT1, is it?

My point is 'buyers' here tell us how cheap they got their C4's ......... Bet they sing a different tune when it comes time to sell, eh ???

Maybe it is the duality of human nature. We say many things, believe in few of them and do even fewer. A good salesman will be able to let you come with your brain and buy with your heart. If you are smart, you say the least and let him/her manipulate you as little as possible. Kinda like with a shrink, you don't give them info to manipulate you.

Right now it has a private party value of $7,500. So if I were to sell it today I wouldn't take less than $7,000 for it since manuals are hard to come by. But I am keeping it for the next 2.5 years. Then I will probably sell it for $5,000 depending on the miles it has then and what the current market is for C4's at that time. I think I got it for a steal at $6,800 from a dealership no less. But the salesman did tell me they were having trouble selling it because it was purple so they dropped the price some. IDK I kind of like the purple. Better a purple manual than a red automatic. But that's just me.
