Why post here first? They're a vendor of CF. You have questions, call them and ask. Doesn't that make sense to you?

The weatherstrips you received are CRC brand. Some times when we don't have the items on the shelf, it is faster to ship you the item direct.

In the 70’s when Corvette Rubber was founded, Jay W. Price ran both the retail and the wholesale divisions of the business. Around the mid 80's Jay sold the retail business to what you now known as Corvette Rubber Co. (the retail store) Jay also went by this name until around 1999. When he decided to change the manufacturing division to what is now known as Missaukee molded rubber to avoid confusion (I assume). Retail customers would call him wanting to purchase items and he would have to refer them to the retail store or one of the many vendors that carry his products.

The easy way to make sure the items you receive are corvette Rubber is to look at the ends. You should be able to find a tiny logo "CRC” molded in to the molded ends of the weatherstrip. It will be about 1/8” in size.

I hope this clears this up for you and if not, email me direct at willcoxcustomerservice@willcoxcorvette.c om

Sorry, see4, didn't mean to sound angry--my apologies if it did. Just thought that maybe they(Wil) would be the first place to go. Yes, this is the place to come to, and Wil did a very nice explanation of the "history" of the names.

Hope it all goes together well.
