I can't remember who posted it but a couple years ago I saw a kit that looked really interesting, it has you take out the hatch window and there was a flat black panel you put in which covered the rear uncovered section. I believe it also came with two sections of canvas in case you got caught out in the rain which would install for the roof and behind the top. I know I did a really lousy job describing it but it looked really great with the top and back hatch window off... I've often thought of it since my vette is not a daily driver and my roof is off and in the garage all summer, if there's a chance of rain my vette does not come out

Quick search brought up these but not the one I remember, neither are as nice as the one I remember, the one I remember had a much cleaner look and no humps behind the headrests..

If you do want to try it, it is easy to take off that hatch glass panel.
It's only 4 bolts at the top, and the two screws from the hatch strut to remove.
