Climate control problem 1988
88 with climate control. Once the car reaches normal temp, I get continuious hot air (90% of the time)from heater with the climate control off. Sometimes if I turn off the car for a few mintues all is back to normal. Is it the actual climate control or a possible vent sticking?

Climate control needs servicing. Remove the control and using a Q tip and electrical contact cleaner, wipe all the pins on the connector on the rear of the control. Plug back in and give it a try. If you still have the same problem, you need to take the control apart and clean the spring contacts that make connection to pads on the circuit board and also clean the fingers on the edge of the board where the board plugs into the rear connector. DO NOT use an eraser on the circuit board fingers.
