Default Steam Cleaning Engine

I've heard steam cleaners work really well at cleaning the engine compartment, suspension, etc. I'm looking to purchase one now. There are a few that can be bought for $50 or so but I think I want something with a little more horsepower. Does anyone have any recomendations?

Thanks

Rick: I got one of the Red devil with the power adapter, like $70, and works like a charm.... I dont have opt, but suspension, engine, etc, works great, spray simple green, wait then power steam, and wipe clean...

Simple Green and shop towels are your friends.

That steam clean project could cost you $1000 by the time the opti-spark is replaced.

I clean my C4 engine by hand.

But I recently cleaned my daily driver's engine compartment, and SUV.
It has 10K miles and was very dirty. I sprayed water from a spray bottle to wet everything. Then sprayed Simple Green all over, let it sit about 10 minutes.
Then I washed it down with a garden hose, low pressure.
It came out looking like new.

As mentioned above, don't wet the opti or alternator.
