Furthest away always. I may not be 100% correct for all cars but of the many I've had to bleed....and while using this Technique...I've never had to re-bleed any lines.
Most of the time people aren't patient enough on the Passenger Rear for all the Air to come out. That fluid should look clear and new before you even begin to think about closing the valve for good.
think of it as "flushing" the system rather than Bleeding the brakes and all will be good. All it will cost you is a $5 in fluid
I am not sure about the Vette but every other car I ever worked on had 1 line that fed the rear with a T fitting on the axle housing(IE: solid axle cars) Whichever side you do first will flush out the main line and then the other side only has to flush from the T fitting. I flushed my 93 coupe(It's a Ruby) out with a Quart of brake fluid, more to change fluid than bleed out air, I did not pay attention to the line/s that run to the rear of the car. But any way it does not matter.
Thanks, I have a complete service manual, however I don't find where it mentions the order to bleed. I'll try the furthest technique first and see if that works. Thanks all.
