The Bose in dash CD player in my 92 won't eject a disc. I've pushed all the buttons and turned it off and on many times. The radio won't play either. How do I get the disc out?
I had a sony once that crapped out. When I would push eject, I could hear the motor trying to push it out, yet it wouldn't spit it out. So what I ended up haveing to do, was slide another disc in at an angle, so that it slid under the edge of the cd that was stuck, and then use the second disc as a lever to lift the cd, and pull it out. I would recommend that if you do this, you use a blank cd-r, or an old cd you don't listen to anymore, because it can scratch them.:nono: Especially since cd's cost around $15 a pop nowadays.
Here is what you do. Get a butter knife(Make sure it has no jagged edges.) Then spread some rubber cement over one side of the knife. Stick thi knife in the CD portal so that the rubber cement is facing downwards. Try to make the CD stick to the kinfe then lift up and out. Its that simple. :D
I kinda like that Bose Crap. Maybe I'm not as much as a music buff as some of you but mine seems pretty good to me  at least its good enough for me.
I had the same problem about two years ago - you can use a credit card, another cd, or some other thin and flexible piece of plastic to lever the stuck cd up so that the radio can eject it. Before you throw the Bose in the trash make sure that it's not the cd that's the problem - I was ready to pull my radio until someone on the forum gave me that advice. There was nothing wrong with the Bose, it was just the one cd that was bad.
I had a problem with a CD my son recorded. I think it was because of the stick-on label hanging up, although there were no loose edges.
I made a rule: no stick-on labels - no problems since then.
