Clutch replacement
How difficult is it to replace the clutch on my 84 4+3. I am guessing it's not just like any other clutch. What's a decent price to pay a garage to do it? Should I have just gotten one with an automatis?
Yeah, no automatic.

It's a bitch to do the first time through. The c-beam is a little tricky to remove/reinstall, and the tunnel is a tight fit around the trans. But the 2nd time will be easier, just time consuming. It'd take me about 6-8 hours work normally with a helper. I'd set aside a whole weekend for it to be safe.
If you decide to do it yourself, I'll give you some more info. Call the dealerships and get an estimate from 2 of them and then decide how much your time is worth if it takes you twice as long as them. They will mark up parts costs by >40% also.
And you should do driveshaft Ujoints while under there.
