A few weeks ago I dropped a thread about changing the oil on a customer's new C6. Yesterday while an old employee of mine and I were returning from lunch we got on 75 South right behind a BEAUTIFUL Grand Sport. I don't care what anybody says...those things are about a sweet as they get. It was a couple in their 40s or 50s with custom Ohio plate. A couple of waves and we were on our way. Those folks made my day.
what year? what is the major difference between the grand sport and the regular LT-1? I just got my '94 LT-1 last year...i never even considered a Grand Sport, since i knew nothing about them...
Well, they only made GSs in 96. They all had the blue paint with white stripe and fender stipes. Most had black interior but some had red, which I think looks the best. They were equipped with LT4 motors. I don't know numbers on production on coupes and verts, but I am sure somebody will chime in here with them. I would say you would be lucky to pick up a true GS for under $40K. There was a thread on here a couple of weeks ago that GS #190 got totalled.
I also have a 94. Just a hint....if a true GS pulls up next to you and wants to race, just wave them on...you're gonna loose.
