Default bigger wheels?

I need help with fitting new wheels onto my 87 vette. I want to use a 1991-1995 chrome saw blade 17" wheel, but I don't know how to convert from 16" to 17" wheels. Help!

The 87 suspension arms are shorter, so the offset is more than the 91s. You'll have to get some spacers to move the newer wheels outboard. I think my 86 z51 10" wheels have a 36 MM offset.

If I were you, I'd bolt on the new wheels without spacers and measure to where you want the wheels to be, and then buy the spacers that thickness. Be advised that the spacers might not be a good idea for a racing application.

No big deal changing from 16" to 17" just use the lower 40 profile tyres
what you will need to look at is the wheel offset 91 saw blades
are 17" X 9.5" with a 56mm offset on all four corners i believe they carried that size through to 93 at least, i`m not sure about 93-96 but you won`t have much trouble finding out on the forum,ZR1`s & GS`s used different width & offset in the rear to take 315 X 35 X 17" tires if you want big rubber in the back it may be possible to fit them on your car though.
Best thing is to measure what you have and work out if you`ll need
spacers or not.

Good luck
