Which wheels look better?
Put new chrome wheels on the wife's 92. I had black Motorsports on it and thought it looked great. She hated them and wanted the chrome ones. Most people who have seen it are split about 50/50. I guess that the only vote that counts is HERS, but I'm interested in the forum's opinion.
Black wheels...
Chrome wheels...
Stock Sawblades...

What do you like? That is what counts. I like the chrome multi spokes if that is my only choices. Chrome saw blades would look cool, but my favorites are the 5 spokers.
IMO. I voted stock sawblades, but it would be much better if they were chrome sawblades. The chrome wheels that you posted just seem like a little too much bling, and I've never been a fan of black wheels either.
As you stated, there is only one opinion that really counts, but here is my $0.02. I really like black wheels with a polished lip on lighter coloured cars. However, I really dislike the wheels you originally went with. The fake rivets are goofy, the way the black extends onto the lip is disturbing, and overall the wheels look cheap. Oh yeah, and I really don't like the trend going away from wheels with a lip. BMW has finally moved away from their wheels, and to me they had some of the nicest factory wheels going. The chromies are gorgeous. They change the whole look of the car for the better. Nice choice!
