Manaul HVAC Controller issue...

Manaul HVAC Controller issue...
Ok, I've searched but only found issues related to the automatic climate controller (blowing air out wrong vents).
My issue:
-1996 LT4
-Manual climate controller
-Vents either below on LOW or HIGH (middle settings are on LOW).
I've read about the connections on the HVAC controller going soft, maybe that's it?
Its kinda annoyning cause LOW is not enough, but HIGH is blasting. I'd like the two medium settings.
Any ideas??

Are you talking about Blower speed? That's controlled by a series of Resistors mounted on the Evaporator Case and I believe for '96, 2 Relays, High and Low. The Low Relay is used for everything but Max, but if you have one of the Low speeds, the Relay is fine. You need a new Resistor Pod.

Yes, the blower speed (fan).
I have only LOW and HIGH all the others between are LOW.
So you are saying:
Since I have the LOWEST blower speed the LOW relay works.
Since I have the HIGHEST blower speed the HIGH relay works.
The in-between speeds are controlled via the resistor network, which is the possible culprit.
