C4 ASR problem
hello, ive got a couple problems that i was hoping you guys could help with. i just bought a 1993 corvette, and all the sudden the service ASR light appears at dash, do i have to take it to a dealer????
Question #2- sometimes it starts rough, by this i mean it starts fine then abrubtly shuts off; once this happens trying to start it again is difficult, i have to wait several min. and give excessive gas, any advice????
ps. ive already replaced spark plugs and fuel filter.

My 96 did the same thing except my check engine light was on with the ASR service light.
My problem was with the Opti. I don't know enough to say this is your problem but the symtoms sound the same.

It probably has set some DTC codes even if the check engine light is not on. Look here for help in pulling the codes. http://www.corvettebuyers.com/c4vettes/codes.htm
