Interior Lights Flash On
I have been meaning to ask this question. When I am driving in the dark with my head lights on and I hit a bump in the road, my interior lights flash on and off. Is this normal?

We had the same problem right after we replaced the weatherstripping and had the car painted. The little contact button in the door jamb was missing. Once we replaced it, no more flashing lights!

Check the door ajar switches for both doors. Mine was doing the very same thing, and found that both switches were bad. I replaced them (~$30 from Ecklers) and everything is back to normal.

What happens is the plunger does not go in all the way and the car "thinks" the door is open. Taping the penny there pushes the plunger in just a little farther for the switch to make contact.
