My muffler guy said if you hear any backfiring or popping it could be a sign of a leak.... and tips can alter the tone of the exhaust. Tips that dump down offer a deeper bassier exhaust note.

Which is why I dont understand why they put those huge fart cans on Hondas and stuff. It adds absolutely no performance whatsoever. Just really really annoying.

i have the stock '92 exhaust with the added difference I removed the mufflers and went with a straight pipe and welded on some magnaflow resonator stainless stell tips (sharp looking also). I go them from summit.

Anyway great sound when you idle and get on it. no popping noises and really a great addition to the driving experience. HOPE ENJOY THEM AS MUCH AS I
