After spending more time than I wanted to removing my tach filter
(who came up the bright idea to put in on the clutch housing in 89 :mad), my tach still can't count.
So, I'm looking to have my dash cluster repaired and thought I'd canvas those of you who already did this for your opinions. Where did you send it, how much did it cost, were you happy with the results, how long did it take, yada, yada, yada.
I had mine done by United Radio in Syracuse NY. Right around $200, only 2 days in their hands and they returned it by overnight service. I was very happy with everything. :)

While I appreciate a challenge, I think my dash requires more than a cleaning and bulb replacement. As the tach displays incorrectly over 3K rpm but operates perfectly fine until then, I'm leaning towards it having more of logic problem (uness the tach is made of two display segments, or a bad connection is causing this).
