I think this thread was brought up a couple of weeks ago. However, I don't own them...BUT, the general opinion of them was high. I write notes about everything and that my note said "self, if you buy seat covers, Iggee was the ones to get". And I wouldn't lie to myself.....well only if she really looked 18
I have them on my 84 and I have been told by car people that they thought they were reupholstered. Best $200.00 I spent on the Corvette since I have owned it.

I have Iggee covers but my story is not as rosy as others. I ordered my seat covers last summer. Got them in and they shipped the covers for the sport seats which my '92 doesn't have. I emailed them and tried to call them. Never got a response back. So now I have sport seat covers on regular seats. The slits in the seat covers for the power controls do nothing but collect dust, dirt and grime.
Here are my Iggees... [click thumbnails for larger image] After:
How do they respond when you slid in/out of the car? Do they hold tight? They look like they have a lot of slack in them? I Really like the look and have been considering a set of those for a while.
Also, how soft is the material and what is it's feel compared to the original leather seat surface? I am not picky, but don't like that "gripping" vinyl where you try to slide in, it grabs then pulls the sides off the edge of the seat or something, or constantly pulls on it from the grip.
GIJoe: There is ZERO comparison to one of those sets of cheapie seat covers IMO. I'm a big boy (270#, 6'-3") with a busted up back, so I "fall into" and "crawl out of" my car as a normal thing and have yet to move the covers from where they were originally installed. They are held on with several straps I guess you'd call them? Held on with several small "S" shaped hooks. Everyone of my friends who've ever seen mine swear they are "new" seats. IMO, they "feel" like regular leather, but don't seem to hold the butt and back burning heat of the sun as much as the real deal. I lucked out and bought mine new from a forum member for $150 and it's by far, the best small money investment I've made yet, on this car. Don't know about you, but I cannot/will not ever be able to justify spending $1000+ on "new" seats, on a car I bought for $5500.
