Hi Guys,
Yes once again I am another new guy here. And just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jim and am in Manchester NJ and am picking up my first vette this weekend and can't wait! My dad starting this love with his 68 conv and now mine is a 84 with 66K miles on her and could not ask for one in better shape. (My wife finally got tired of hearing me after six years of marriage! :)) So after about 6 months of searching I finally found her. I look forward to talking to all of you.
Jim, Welcome and your car looks great. I got my first Corvette in July and I am still grinning ear to ear. My father is to blame for my infatuation with these cars as well. Of course he is also responsible for me getting this one, so I guess it's ok.:D
thanks guys, I know it won't be the last, it's been in the blood but just hasn't ever materialized until now, have to blame my pops though he started it all, but thanks to him with his shopping eye that I found this one
BTW: You should look at your RPO codes to see what options your vette has, they're on a sticker inside one of the storage compartments. Specifically look for Z51 it's the extra handling package, and it's very good.
Hey buddy welcome! Come on in and join the fun! It's been alittle quiet in here lately but lots of fun nonetheless. Any assistance we can be just give a holler. Welcome again.

My father is the reason for my addiction also. I am also lucky he is a top notch mechanic.
These are great cars to work on.
Really they are. especially those with only the OBD I computers.
still simple enough to deal with.
